The spare brick on the tile
The stick that sticks out of the pile
A dead bird lays near the window
I've been here for awhile
Beak blunt and yellow
Beauty stunned will bellow
(Hear me unwind)
I lament your name into the night
Like a wounded animal, paralyzed and full of fright
At my own wings, I tear into and slice
For your affection steals my flight
I have no breath, thoughts of my death
Please take the little bit of me left
I'm not hungry for food, I'm hungry for you
And I'm not able to sleep unless it's by you
I don't know what my life's turned into
Fill me with earth
Bury me in your dirt
I'll decompose a dirge
With inscribed words

Some flames are too small to run down the stick
Put them back in the box and throw the whole thing out
Howls stretch across the jet black
The place where cacti die and no climate ripe with fruit
The spiny splint the fractured night
Where the cliffs are center-cut and the hides are rugged
A hand will wipe it that way
Ghastly and dream, gives it a sheen
Let 'em make their own out of it
Don't give an opinion
Slippin' wet rocky overhangs
Sliding down the night
Watch it change before your eyes a thousand times
Before the sand buries your tries
You can't avert your eyes when you're locked in glass ice
You can't divert your mind when you're locked in glass ice
You can't abort your sight when you're locked in a glass eye

A cable tug
Out from sea

The reason of questions
That further confound me
Wandering in memory
Leaking onto fantasy
Of a single remembered dream
Leaning on a fantasy of a single

On the edge of the ledge
My heels are wedged
Teetering over the world
I lick stamp send my chest
Will you receive me?
Don't believe in me
I'm a haunter because I've been haunted
And I'll haunt you now
I carry the blithe and it's bliss
But you can't ignore difference
We will never be together
And I can't quell this force ever
I will be here forever
That tethered part of me just now was set free
I only wish you could still see me
On a beached memory
I'll part seas of your hair
And slay the serpent heads
That imprison you from my chest
And its sways produce riptides
I'm in need of a host, I'm lost
I've been searching for awhile
But it's never going to be long enough
So I follow the two-headed cat
And I'm never turning back
Or else I'll crumble in low self-worth
Before I was a ghost, I thought
I thought about how you were a ghost before me
And it was you who I couldn't touch
That used to be important to me
But then I lost my balance
And the cat landed on its feet
While I went with the tides
Carried away by the source of the force
The Moon is me
On Earth you feel my gravity
And keep me close in tow
You see my face in the night
And I bathe you in my light

The space between two people
Can be an intensely emotional thing
Feelings are broadcasted like radio waves
And the strength of the human desire for connection
Can materialize as if it were a distinct spirit
Perhaps a merging of two spirits into a hybrid and grows
Absorbing light energy
And with a dense internal core that backflips into itself
Imploding and sucking everything in
With its incontestable power
And insatiable thirst to expand and consume everything in its light
Which jet streams of pour out in every astrological direction
That it paints new narratives in the folds of space wrapped stars
Until the last particle of dust can feel its warmth
And every star eclipses
So that the only light visible on every planet in the universe is ours
